Terms of Service

Version 1 · in force since 19/10/2026

GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF USE

Preamble

These General Terms and Conditions of Use (hereinafter the "GTCU") define the conditions under which any person accesses and uses the Wattson service, whether or not they hold an account.

The Wattson service (hereinafter the "Service") is published by Pierre Halloo, a sole trader (entrepreneur individuel) trading under the name Wattson, whose full contact details appear in the Legal Notice (hereinafter the "Publisher").

The Service is available at getwattson.io.

Article 1 : Definitions

In these GTCU, the following terms have the meanings set out below:

  • Device: a GPS computer, connected watch or any other compatible equipment to which the User may send their Workouts via a Third-Party Platform.

Article 2 : Purpose and interaction with the other contractual documents

2.1 Purpose

The purpose of these GTCU is to define the conditions of access to and use of the Service, the respective rights and obligations of the Publisher and the User, as well as the rules applicable to User Content.

2.2 Contractual documents

Use of the Service is governed by a set of separate and complementary documents:

Document Purpose
GTCU (this document) Access to the Service, account, rules of use, liabilities
General Terms and Conditions of Sale (GTCS) Paid plans, trial period, prices, payment, term, renewal, withdrawal
Privacy Policy Processing of personal data and the User's rights
Cookie Policy Cookies and trackers used by the Service
Legal Notice Identification of the Publisher, the publication director and the host

The GTCU constitute the framework applicable to every User. The GTCS are additional to them, and do not replace them, for any User who takes out a Paid Plan.

2.3 Order of precedence

In the event of a conflict between the GTCU and the GTCS concerning the financial terms of the subscription, the GTCS shall prevail. In the event of a conflict concerning any other matter, the GTCU shall prevail.

Article 3 : Acceptance and enforceability of the GTCU

3.1 Visitor

Mere use of the Service, including in Guest Mode and without creating an Account, constitutes full and unreserved acceptance of these GTCU. A User who does not accept the GTCU must cease using the Service.

3.2 Account holder

Creation of an Account is subject to express acceptance of the GTCU by an affirmative action of the User during the registration process.

3.3 Proof of acceptance

For each acceptance, the Publisher records and retains the identifier of the version accepted, the date and time of acceptance, the IP address and the user agent (User-Agent) of the device used. In accordance with Articles 1366 and 1367 of the French Civil Code, this record constitutes proof of the acceptance and of its content.

The User may consult the history of their acceptances from their Account and obtain it by means of the export provided for in Article 13.2.

3.4 Enforceable version

The version enforceable against a User holding an Account is the one they have accepted, until a later version is accepted on the terms set out in Article 18. The version enforceable against a Visitor is the one online on the date of their consultation.

Article 4 : Description of the Service

4.1 Nature of the Service

Wattson is a tool for editing structured training workouts for cycling and running. It allows, in particular:

  • building a Workout block by block on a timeline, each block carrying an intensity zone, a duration, an intensity range and, optionally, a cadence;
  • entering an Athlete Profile from which the Service calculates training zones expressed in power, heart rate or pace;
  • organising Workouts within a personal library and scheduling them on a calendar, within the limits of the plan taken out;
  • accessing the Publisher's Library and saving Workouts from it into the personal library, under the Paid Plan;
  • sending Workouts to a compatible Device via a Third-Party Platform, subject to Article 10;
  • exporting data on the terms set out in Article 13.2.

The Service is available in French only.

4.2 Calculations performed by the Service

The training zones, intensities and interval templates proposed result exclusively from deterministic calculations applied to the values entered by the User in their Athlete Profile. The Service implements no generative artificial intelligence processing and carries out no automated decision-making within the meaning of Article 22 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679.

The relevance of the results depends directly on the accuracy and currency of the values entered by the User.

4.3 Guest Mode

The Workout editor is accessible without creating an Account. The User is expressly informed that, in this mode:

  • intensities are calculated on the basis of a predefined generic athlete profile, unrelated to their own physiological characteristics;
  • no data is saved on the Publisher's servers: the Workout being edited exists only in the browser's memory and is permanently lost if the page is reloaded, the tab is closed or the session is interrupted;
  • access to the other features, and in particular saving and sending to a Device, requires the creation of an Account.

The Publisher may not be held liable for the loss of a Workout edited in Guest Mode.

4.4 Free access

Access to the Service is free of charge within the limits of the Free Plan and, for every new User, within the limits of the Trial Period provided for in Article 7.2. Connection, equipment and network access costs remain the exclusive responsibility of the User.

Article 5 : Eligibility conditions

5.1 Age

Access to the Service is reserved to natural persons aged at least sixteen (16).

A User aged between sixteen (16) and eighteen (18) declares that they use the Service with the prior authorisation of the holder(s) of parental authority, who are deemed to have read these GTCU and in particular Article 8.

Taking out a Paid Plan is reserved to persons of full age or to emancipated minors who have the legal capacity to contract.

The Publisher carries out no verification of the age declared. It reserves the right to suspend or delete any Account which appears to have been created in breach of this article.

5.2 Personal and non-professional use

The Service is intended for strictly personal and non-professional use. In particular, it is prohibited to use the Service to design, produce or supply Workouts to third parties, whether free of charge or for consideration, in the context of an activity as a trainer, coach, club or any other organisation.

Any User wishing to make professional use of the Service is invited to contact the Publisher at support@getwattson.io.

5.3 Capacity

The User declares that they have the legal capacity required to accept these GTCU and to use the Service.

Article 6 : User account

6.1 Creation of the Account

Creation of an Account requires the provision of accurate, truthful, complete and up-to-date information. The User undertakes to update it as necessary, in particular as regards the data in their Athlete Profile.

An Account is associated with a unique e-mail address. A User may hold only one Account.

6.2 Verification of the e-mail address

A verification link is sent to the User upon registration. This link has a limited period of validity and may be reissued from the Account. Any change to the e-mail address associated with the Account gives rise to the sending of a new verification link.

6.3 Security of credentials

The User chooses a password meeting the strength requirements imposed by the Service. They are solely responsible for the confidentiality of their credentials and for any activity carried out from their Account.

The User undertakes to inform the Publisher without delay, at support@getwattson.io, of any fraudulent or unauthorised use of their Account, or of any breach of the confidentiality of their credentials.

6.4 Prohibition on Account sharing

The Account is strictly personal. It may not be assigned, lent, shared, made available or resold to a third party, whether free of charge or for consideration.

6.5 Password reset

Should they forget their password, the User may request a reset from the login interface. A single-use link with a limited period of validity is sent to them by e-mail. The reset results in the revocation of all active sessions.

Article 7 : Plans and usage limits

7.1 Free Plan and Paid Plan

The Service is offered on a so-called freemium model. The creation and saving of Workouts within the User's personal library are subject to no limit as to number, whatever the plan.

The differences between the plans relate exclusively to the following two points:

  • calendar scheduling: the Free Plan limits the number of Workouts that may be scheduled per calendar month as well as the scheduling horizon, expressed as a number of days from the current date. The Paid Plan lifts both of these limitations, as to number and as to horizon;
  • the Publisher's Library: access to it is reserved to the Paid Plan.

The exact values of the limits applicable to the Free Plan are brought to the User's attention within the Service and on the plan presentation page. They may change on the terms set out in Article 12.3.

Every new User temporarily accesses the features of the Paid Plan under the Trial Period provided for in Article 7.2.

The financial terms, the term, the renewal and the termination of the Paid Plan are governed exclusively by the GTCS.

The other features of the Service, and in particular Workout editing, the Athlete Profile, synchronisation with a Device and data export, are subject to no limitation connected with the plan taken out.

7.2 Free Trial Period

Creation of an Account entitles every new User to a free Trial Period of fourteen (14) calendar days from that creation, giving access to the features of the Paid Plan.

The Trial Period is free of charge, requires no payment method to be registered and entails no commitment. It does not convert into a paid subscription: it ends automatically, by operation of law, at its term, without notification or any termination step, and the User is then automatically switched to the Free Plan on the terms set out in Article 7.3, unless a Paid Plan is taken out before that term.

The Trial Period is limited to one (1) per person. The creation of several Accounts with a view to benefiting from it more than once constitutes prohibited use within the meaning of Article 9 and exposes the User to the measures set out in Article 15.

The Publisher retains the option of granting a further Trial Period to a User, at its sole discretion and on a purely commercial basis. Such a decision creates no vested right and sets no precedent, whether for the benefit of that User or of any other.

The financial terms of the Trial Period and its interaction with the right of withdrawal are set out in the GTCS.

7.3 Effects of reverting to the Free Plan

At the end of a Paid Plan or of a Trial Period, the User is automatically switched to the Free Plan.

Personal library. The User's Workouts are neither deleted nor locked. Their personal library remains fully accessible for reading, editing, deletion and export, including as regards the Workouts they saved from the Publisher's Library during the period of access to the Paid Plan.

Workouts already scheduled. Workouts scheduled in the calendar during the period of access to the Paid Plan are retained and remain viewable, editable, executable and capable of synchronisation, including where they exceed the number or horizon limits of the Free Plan. No retroactive deletion or unscheduling is carried out. These Workouts are not counted towards the monthly quota applicable to the Free Plan.

Subsequent scheduling. The limits of the Free Plan apply solely to scheduling carried out after the date of reverting to the Free Plan.

Publisher's Library. Access to the Publisher's Library ceases on that same date. It is restored immediately if a Paid Plan is taken out again.

7.4 Technical limits

The Publisher implements limiting measures intended to preserve the stability, security and availability of the Service, in particular restrictions on the number of requests per unit of time and validation bounds on the values entered. These measures are liable to change without notice.

7.5 Changes to the limits

The Publisher reserves the right to change the scope and limits of each plan on the terms set out in Article 12.3.

Article 8 : Warning concerning health and sporting activity

This article is essential. The User is invited to read it with particular attention.

8.1 Nature of the Service

Wattson is an editing and calculation tool. It is neither a medical device, nor a medical advice service, nor a sports coaching service. The Workouts, training zones and interval templates proposed are purely informational and technical in nature and result from formulas applied to the values entered by the User.

They in no way constitute an opinion, a diagnosis, a prescription or a personalised recommendation, and are not a substitute for the advice of a healthcare professional or a qualified sports coach.

8.2 User's declaration

By using the Service, the User declares that they:

  • engage in physical activity entirely at their own risk and under their sole responsibility, being aware of the risks inherent in sporting activity, in particular high-intensity training;
  • have been informed that it is for them to satisfy themselves, with a healthcare professional, that there is no contraindication to sporting activity and to the intensity of the efforts they envisage, in particular in the event of cardiovascular or respiratory history, chronic illness, drug treatment, pregnancy, resumption after an injury, an operation or a prolonged period of interruption, or resumption of activity after the age of forty (40);
  • remain the sole judge of whether the Workouts they create or perform are appropriate to their state of health, their current physical condition, their level and the environment in which they practise.

8.3 User's obligations

The User undertakes to:

  • enter accurate and up-to-date Athlete Profile values, and to update them whenever their physical condition or state of health changes significantly;
  • check the consistency of the values calculated by the Service before performing a Workout, and adapt or decline any Workout that is manifestly unsuitable;
  • stop the effort immediately in the event of pain, discomfort, faintness, abnormal breathlessness or any other unusual sign, and consult a healthcare professional;
  • ensure the proper functioning, updating and configuration of their Device, and check the consistency of the data displayed before and during the performance of a Workout;
  • not perform a Workout in dangerous conditions, in particular on the public highway where the attention required by the Workout is incompatible with the vigilance required for traffic.

8.4 Exclusion of the Publisher's liability

The Publisher may not be held liable for the consequences, of whatever kind, of the performance of a Workout created, scheduled or performed by means of the Service, nor for any bodily injury, worsening of a state of health, injury, underperformance or accident occurring in connection with the User's sporting activity.

The Publisher does not collect, request or verify any medical certificate or any data relating to the User's state of health other than the physiological values which the User chooses to enter. It exercises no control over the actual use the User makes of the Workouts.

Article 9 : Prohibited uses

The User undertakes to use the Service in accordance with its intended purpose, with these GTCU, with the laws and regulations in force and with the rights of third parties.

The following, in particular, are prohibited:

  • any unauthorised access or attempted access to the Service, to its servers, to its databases or to another User's account;
  • any impairment or attempted impairment of the integrity, security or proper functioning of the Service, in particular by introducing malicious code or by any action liable to disrupt its availability;
  • any mass or automated extraction, re-use, reproduction or collection of all or part of the Service or of its content, in particular by means of robots, scrapers, scripts or any other automated process not expressly authorised;
  • any circumvention or attempted circumvention of the limiting measures, usage caps, restrictions connected with the plan taken out or security mechanisms of the Service;
  • decompilation, reverse engineering, disassembly or any attempt to access the source code of the Service, save in the cases expressly authorised by law;
  • the creation of several Accounts by one and the same person, in particular with a view to benefiting from several Trial Periods, the creation of Accounts using inaccurate or misappropriated information, as well as the sharing, assignment or resale of an Account or of access;
  • the resale, making available, sub-licensing or commercial exploitation of all or part of the Service, as well as any professional use prohibited by Article 5.2;
  • use of the Service for unlawful or fraudulent purposes or in a manner that infringes the rights of a third party.

Any breach of this article exposes the User to the measures provided for in Article 15, without prejudice to any legal action the Publisher may bring.

Article 10 : Synchronisation with Third-Party Platforms

10.1 Principle

The Service allows the User to connect their Account to certain Third-Party Platforms in order to send their Workouts to a compatible Device. The list of supported Third-Party Platforms is the one indicated within the Service on the date of connection; at present, it comprises Wahoo, Intervals.icu, Garmin, Suunto, Coros. This list is liable to change, in either direction.

10.2 Conditions of synchronisation

Synchronisation requires the User to hold a valid account with the Third-Party Platform concerned and expressly to grant the necessary permissions by means of an OAuth-type authorisation. This authorisation constitutes an instruction given to the Publisher to transmit to the Third-Party Platform the content of the Workouts concerned as well as the physiological values necessary for their execution on the Device.

The User may revoke this authorisation at any time, from the Service or from the Third-Party Platform.

10.3 Independence of Third-Party Platforms

Third-Party Platforms are operated by companies independent of the Publisher. Their use is governed by their own terms and policies, which it is for the User to consult and accept.

The Publisher controls neither the availability, nor the operation, nor the development, nor the pricing terms of these Third-Party Platforms and their application programming interfaces. It may not be held liable for a failure, delay or corruption of synchronisation, nor for the unavailability or removal of an integration resulting from a decision, a technical change or a failure on the part of the Third-Party Platform or of the Device manufacturer.

10.4 Retry on failure

If a transmission fails, the Service carries out a limited number of automatic retries. Beyond that, it is for the User to re-initiate the operation from their Account.

Article 11 : Intellectual property

11.1 The Publisher's rights

The Service as a whole, and in particular the software, the source code, the interfaces, the architecture, the texts, the graphic elements, the visual identity, the trade marks, the logos, the domain names and the database of Workouts offered by the Publisher, is protected by intellectual property law. This list is not exhaustive.

These elements remain the exclusive property of the Publisher or of its licensors. The database offered by the Publisher is further protected under the sui generis right of the database producer (Articles L. 341-1 et seq. of the French Intellectual Property Code).

11.2 Right of use granted to the User

The Publisher grants the User a personal, non-exclusive, non-assignable and non-transferable right to use the Service, for strictly personal purposes, for the duration of their use of the Service.

Any reproduction, representation, adaptation, extraction or exploitation that is not expressly authorised is prohibited.

11.3 User Content

User Content remains the property of the User.

The User grants the Publisher a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence, limited to the period during which this content is hosted, for the sole purposes of the technical operation of the Service: storage, display, backup, processing and transmission to the Third-Party Platforms expressly authorised by the User.

This licence is strictly limited to what is necessary for the operation of the Service. The Publisher does not exploit User Content for any other purpose, does not make it accessible to any other User and does not use it for commercial or advertising purposes.

11.4 Scope of ownership of User Content

The User's ownership relates to the content of their Workouts and not to the features of the Service. Consequently, the ability to view, edit or perform those Workouts within the Service depends on the plan taken out, on the terms set out in Article 7.3.

11.5 User's warranty

The User warrants that they hold all necessary rights in the User Content and indemnifies the Publisher against any third-party claim in this respect.

Article 12 : Availability, maintenance and development of the Service

12.1 Availability

The Publisher implements reasonable means to ensure the accessibility of the Service. It is bound by a best-efforts obligation (obligation de moyens) and guarantees neither uninterrupted availability nor the absence of defects.

The Service may be suspended, in particular in the event of maintenance, updates, corrections, a security incident or a failure attributable to a third party (host, access provider, Third-Party Platform, Device manufacturer).

12.2 Maintenance

Planned maintenance operations are, as far as possible, carried out in such a way as to limit the inconvenience caused. Emergency maintenance operations may take place without notice.

12.3 Development of the Service

The Publisher may at any time develop the Service, add, modify, limit or remove features, including features accessible under the Free Plan, without this giving rise to any right to compensation.

Where a change is material and unfavourable to the User, the Publisher will inform them by any useful means within a reasonable time before it takes effect. A User holding a Paid Plan may then terminate their subscription free of charge on the ground of that change, on the terms provided for in the GTCS.

12.4 Technical prerequisites

Access to the Service requires the use of a recent browser, JavaScript to be enabled and acceptance of the cookies strictly necessary for the operation of the Service, as well as access to the payment services provider's domains for subscription operations. The Publisher does not guarantee the operation of the Service on obsolete or non-standard configurations.

Article 13 : Retention, backup and export of data

13.1 Backup

The Publisher implements reasonable means with a view to preserving User Content. It does not, however, guarantee either the absence of data loss or its restoration in the event of an incident, a technical failure, force majeure or the act of a third party.

13.2 Export

The User may, at any time and from their Account, export their data in CSV format, including from the Free Plan.

They are expressly advised to carry out this export regularly and to keep a copy of their data on their own storage medium. They are solely responsible for keeping that copy.

13.3 Retention periods

The retention periods for personal data are set out in the Privacy Policy.

Article 14 : Liability

14.1 The User's liability

The User is responsible for the use they make of the Service, for the data they enter in it, for the User Content they create and for any activity carried out from their Account. They are liable for damage caused to the Publisher or to third parties resulting from a breach of these GTCU.

14.2 The Publisher's liability

The Publisher is liable under the general rules of law. These provisions may not limit its liability in the event of wilful misconduct (dol), gross negligence (faute lourde) or bodily injury attributable to its act, nor exclude the mandatory statutory warranties from which the consumer benefits.

Subject to the foregoing, the Publisher may not be held liable in respect of:

  • the consequences of the User's sporting activity, on the terms set out in Article 8;
  • the inaccuracy of the values entered by the User or of the calculations derived from them;
  • the loss of a Workout edited in Guest Mode;
  • an interruption, slowdown or unavailability of the Service;
  • a malfunction, unavailability or change affecting a Third-Party Platform or a Device;
  • use of the Service that does not comply with these GTCU;
  • unauthorised access to the Account resulting from a failure to keep credentials confidential attributable to the User;
  • the occurrence of an event of force majeure within the meaning of Article 1218 of the French Civil Code.

14.3 Cap

For a User holding a Paid Plan, the liability cap stipulated in the GTCS remains applicable.

As the Service is provided free of charge under the Free Plan, the Publisher's liability towards a non-subscribing User is assessed taking that gratuitous nature into account, without prejudice to mandatory statutory provisions.

Article 15 : Suspension and termination at the Publisher's initiative

15.1 Non-serious breach

In the event of a breach by the User of these GTCU which is not serious in nature, the Publisher shall send the User, by e-mail, a formal notice (mise en demeure) specifying the breach identified and inviting them to remedy it within a reasonable period, which may not be less than fifteen (15) days.

Failing rectification within that period, the Publisher may suspend access to the Account and then terminate it.

15.2 Serious breach

The Publisher may suspend access to the Account with immediate effect and without prior formal notice in the event of a serious breach, in particular:

  • fraudulent or improper use of the Service;
  • an attack or attempted attack on the security, integrity or availability of the Service;
  • mass extraction or unauthorised automated use;
  • resale, sharing or making available of access;
  • use of the Service for unlawful purposes or in a manner that infringes the rights of a third party;
  • creation of an Account in breach of Article 5.

The User is informed of this by e-mail and may submit their observations to support@getwattson.io. In the light of those observations, the Publisher may lift the suspension or terminate the Account.

15.3 Effects of termination for breach

Termination pronounced for an established serious breach entails the deletion of the Account and of the associated User Content, as well as the termination of the current subscription, without any refund of sums already paid and without prejudice to any damages the Publisher may claim.

As far as possible, and save where the nature of the breach makes this impossible, the User is given the opportunity to export their data before the Account is actually deleted.

15.4 Discontinuation of the Service

The Publisher may decide to discontinue operation of the Service. It shall inform Users by e-mail within a reasonable period, which may not be less than thirty (30) days, allowing them to export their data. Current subscriptions are terminated and refunded pro rata for the unperformed period.

Article 16 : Deletion of the Account at the User's initiative

16.1 Procedure

The User may delete their Account at any time, independently, from their Account settings. Deletion requires their explicit confirmation.

16.2 Irreversible nature

Deletion of the Account is permanent and immediate. It entails, with no possibility of restoration:

  • revocation of connections to Third-Party Platforms;
  • cancellation of the current subscription, where applicable;
  • deletion of the Athlete Profile, the Workouts, the calendar entries, the synchronisation history and the acceptances of the contractual documents;
  • revocation of all active sessions.

There is no recycle bin, no cooling-off period and no possibility of reactivation. It is for the User to export their data before requesting deletion of their Account.

16.3 Deletion during a subscription or a Trial Period

The User is expressly informed that deleting their Account during a subscription, whether monthly or annual, gives rise to no refund, whether in whole or in part, of sums already paid, in accordance with the GTCS.

If they wish only to bring their subscription to an end while keeping their data, it is for them to terminate that subscription without deleting their Account.

Deleting the Account during a Trial Period permanently brings that period to an end. The Trial Period is neither suspended, nor postponed, nor restored if a new Account is subsequently created.

16.4 Residual retention

Certain data may be retained beyond the deletion of the Account where the law so requires, in particular billing data under accounting and tax obligations. These cases are set out in detail in the Privacy Policy.

16.5 No temporary deactivation

The Service does not offer any dormancy or temporary deactivation of the Account.

Article 17 : Personal data and cookies

The personal data processing carried out in connection with the Service is described in the Privacy Policy, which sets out the purposes, legal bases, recipients, retention periods and the arrangements for exercising the rights conferred by Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and by Law No. 78-17 of 6 January 1978 as amended.

The cookies and trackers used by the Service are described in the Cookie Policy.

Article 18 : Amendment of the GTCU

The Publisher may amend these GTCU, in particular where the Service, the applicable regulations or its technical service providers change. Each version is numbered, dated and archived by the Publisher.

Every new version is notified by e-mail to Users holding an Account at least thirty (30) days before it takes effect, together with a summary of the changes and a link to the full text. From that date, the User is invited, on their first login, to accept it by a dedicated affirmative action.

The version enforceable against the User is the one they have accepted, until a later version is accepted. The history of their acceptances remains available for consultation from their Account.

In the event of refusal, the User may delete their Account on the terms set out in Article 16. A User holding a Paid Plan may, on the ground of that amendment, terminate their subscription free of charge; failing that, the subscription continues until its expiry on the previous terms and is not renewed.

For a Visitor, the applicable version is the one online on the date on which they consult the Service.

Article 19 : General provisions

19.1 Entire agreement

These GTCU, supplemented where applicable by the GTCS, express the entire agreement between the Publisher and the User relating to use of the Service.

19.2 Severability

If any of the provisions of these GTCU were declared void or unenforceable, the remaining provisions would retain their full effect. The provision concerned would be replaced by a valid provision of equivalent economic and legal effect.

19.3 No waiver

The fact that the Publisher does not rely on a breach by the User shall not constitute a waiver of its right to rely on it subsequently.

19.4 Assignment

The Publisher may assign or transfer these GTCU, in whole or in part, to any third party in the context of a transfer of its business or a reorganisation, provided that it informs the User and does not diminish their rights. The User may not assign their rights and obligations without the Publisher's prior written consent.

19.5 Evidence

The Publisher's computerised records, kept under reasonable security conditions, are deemed to constitute proof of the communications, acceptances, logins and operations carried out within the Service.

19.6 Language

These GTCU are drafted in French. In the event of translation, only the French version is authoritative.

Article 20 : Governing law and dispute resolution

These GTCU are governed by French law.

In the event of difficulty, the User is invited to send a complaint to the Publisher at support@getwattson.io. The Publisher endeavours to reply within a reasonable time.

Failing an amicable resolution, and in accordance with Article L. 616-1 of the French Consumer Code, a User who is a consumer may have free recourse to a consumer ombudsman (médiateur de la consommation) with a view to the amicable resolution of the dispute, on the terms set out in the GTCS.

The User may also use the European online dispute resolution platform available at: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr

Failing resolution amicably or through mediation, the dispute shall be brought before the competent French courts, in accordance with the rules of jurisdiction applicable to consumers.
